Résumé

This is the story of Katrina, an ancient she-vampire who, in 1792, meets Loreen. This young woman becomes lost during a walk in the forest with her brother, and seeks shelter in the vampire's castle. Alone with Loreen, Katrina makes a strange proposal: Loreen will return to her whenever she is called, and Katrina will spare her brother Sevren's life. Terrified, Loreen accepts the dreadful compromise that will bind her to her Machiavellian hostess... but Katrina does not keep her part of the bargain. One evening she encounters Sevren as he and his sister visit their parents' tomb at the cemetery. Enamored of the young man's charm, she makes him her companion -- to the detriment of Loreen who is powerless to do more than nurse her hatred for the vampire. The centuries pass... until 1998.
	Michael, a teenager interested in vampires, and his friend Ritchie attend a concert given by Santiago, who is actually another of Katrina's companions. The (seemingly) young woman wastes no time in putting in an appearance under the admiring gaze of the two teenagers, who are captivated by her astonishing beauty. It is not long before a series of sordid killings begins as the two vampires work to appease their bloodlust.
Michael gets to know Santiago and realizes that his belief in vampires is no mere dream. He tries to convince his friends, but, incredulous, they refuse to listen... Until the day Connie, the wife of his friend Yan, becomes the victim of Sevren and Loreen. Yan and Michael devote themselves to hunting down the vampires until they find the lair of the creatures of the night. There, armed with crosses and stakes, they purify the cavern where Sevren and Loreen sleep. They then manage to discover the tombs occupied by Katrina and Santiago.
	The two vampire hunters expose their quarry to daylight and return home satisfied with having destroyed the vampiress and her companions. What they do not know is that, once night falls, Katrina's ashes rise in a cloud of greenish vapor, reconstituting her beautiful form. Despite Yan and Michael's belief that they have eliminated the vampires, Katrina resumes her Machiavellian ways in the guise of an important businesswoman well prepared to continue her funerary enterprise. In addition, the vampire hunters' recent failure has left her immune to the one thing that might otherwise have destroyed her: daylight!

Esta historia relata la vida de Katrina, una mujer vampiro que tiene una infinidad de siglos de edad, que va a conocer, en el transcurso del ano 1792, a Loreen. Esta chica, acompanada por su hermano, se pierde, y encuentia refugio en el castillo de la mujer vampiro.

Katrina, sola con Loreen, hace una estrana proposicion' a esta ùltima : que se quede definitivamente a su lado, en cambio de que, la vida de sù hermano Sevren no sera amenazada.

Aterrada, Loreen acepta el hororrozo compromiso lo cual la une a su hospedero mapuiavélico. Pero Katrina no cumplira su promesa. Seducida par el attractino joven, ligara con el, en detrimento de Loreen, que impotente, solo presentira odio para ella.
